Garden Herbed Tempeh

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 200g tempeh, chopped into little cubes
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced finely
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced finely
  • 1 red chili, diced finely
  • 1 tsp. vegetable seasoning
  • ½ tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. salt

Method

  • In a large pan, cook garlic and red chilies in oil, until the garlic browns slightly.
  • Add the tempeh and cook on a high flame for about 2 minutes.
  • Lower the flame and cook on a simmering flame for about 6 to 8 minutes or until the tempeh browns slightly. Keep stirring the tempeh for even browning.
  • Add diced bell peppers and cook until the peppers soften slightly.
  • Add seasonings and salt. Mix well, dish out and serve.
